Christmas Trail, 6th December 2015

Our second Christmas Advent Trail was even better than the first, with beautifully decorated and illuminated windows and gardens dotted about the village.  Thanks to a generous grant from Daventry District Council, we were able to arrange a living Nativity, Christmassy children's crafts and a brass band.  Visitors enjoyed beautiful singing from the children of Naseby Primary School, and were honoured by the presence of Naseby's very own Three "Wise" Men.

Scavenger Hunt, 26th October 2015

This year's Scavenger Hunt was GREAT fun! The separate routes for cars and bicycles worked equally well, and (as far as we're aware!), no one got lost. Thanks to everyone who participated, and congratulations to the winners.

Tack Sale, 2nd October 2015

Naseby Village Hall has definitely never seen so many rugs, saddles, boots or stirrups.  The inaugural Tack Sale was a great success, attracting buyers and sellers from across Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire.  Deals were made, bargains were bought, and donations were made to the RDA and Air Ambulance Charities: a very successful night!

Wine-tasting, September - November 2015

Over 30 people attended our course of wine-tasting classes, learning about variations in flavour resulting from climate and soil; English wines; matchig food and wine; and celebration wines.  Jamie Lawrence from Majestic Wines in Market Harborough, was a wonderfully entertaining tutor and promises to teach us all about cocktails in 2016!

VE Dance, 8th May 2015

Well, what a wonderful evening!  Almost 100 people came along, and more than we could ever have dreamed of had dressed in 40s costumes. Thank you all for making such a tremendous effort; to Cafe Jazz, who kept the dance floor filled; and, of course, to the extremely talented dancers from the Northampton Swing Dance Society.  It truly was a great evening. See you again soon!
